Procedure
Remove the Drum Cartridge (Y, M, C) and the Developer Housing Assembly (Y, M, C) and cheat the Front Cover Interlock Switch and the Front Cover Open Switch.
Enter the Diag Mode, turn ON DC330 [042-008] (YMC Drum/Deve Motor).
Does the YMC Drum/Deve Motor rotate?
Y N
Turn OFF the power and disconnect the power plug. Check the following connections for open circuits, short circuits, and poor contacts.
Between the Motor Drive PWB J426 and the YMC Drum /Deve Motor J203
Between the Motor Drive PWB J427 and the YMC Drum /Deve Motor J213
If no problem is found, replace the following parts in sequence: However, each time a parts is replaced, check whether the Fail is still occurring and return the part if it has no problems.
Main Drive Assembly (PL 3.1, PL 3.2)
Motor Drive PWB (PL 18.2, PL 18.5)
Turn OFF the power and install the Drum Cartridge (Y, M, C) and the Developer Housing Assembly (Y, M, C).
Turn ON the power, enter the Diag mode and turn ON DC330 [042-008] (YMC Drum/Deve Motor).
Does the YMC Drum/Deve Motor rotate?
Y N
Check the Drum Cartridge (Y, M, C) and the Developer Housing Assembly (Y, M, C) for loading.
Turn OFF the power and disconnect the power plug. Check the following connections for open circuits, short circuits, and poor contacts.
Between the Low model: YMC Drum/Deve Motor J213-4 and the Motor Drive PWB J427-15
Between the Mid-M model: YMC Drum/Deve Motor J213-4 and the Motor Drive PWB J427-B3
If no problem is found, replace the Motor Drive PWB. (PL 18.2, PL 18.5) |
