Description
Detected insufficient Input Data (UnderRun) on the Controller regarding the Output Data to LPH.
IReCT settings error has occurred.
Fault Code
089-313: IReCT Error Fail #1
089-314: IReCT Error Fail #2
089-316: IReCT Error Fail #3
089-317: IReCT Error Fail #4
NOTE
This Fail is the Sub System Fail and when this Fail occurs, +24VDC_C13 and +24VDC_Intlk will be cut off. (Refer to BSD CH1.8, CH1.10, CH1.13)
NOTE
When multiple failures with Chain No. 089 (RegiCon) occur, take action according to the priority order in the following table. Solving a higher priority failure may sometimes also repair the other failures.
Cause/Action
1. Turn the power OFF and ON
2. Turn OFF the power and disconnect the power plug. Check the connectors (P/J335, P/J451) between the Controller PWB, BP PWB, and Halftone PWB for poor contacts.
3. Check that there is no foreign matter on the Halftone PWB.
4. Enter the Diag mode and perform DC675 Registration Control Setup Cycle. (ADJ 18.1.5)
5. If the problem persists, contact the Support Department and get instructions.
CF-022 RC Sample Block Fail-B
BSD-on: CH6.11
Description
In (Rear) or Out (Front) Side ReC Sensor Patch did not meet the specified enabled Sample Block count during B (Rough Tone Pattern) Patch detection of each color. (This is a hidden failure. The Color Regi Spec cannot be guaranteed and Data is only recorded in history.)
Fault Code
089-604: RC Sample Block Fail-B-#1-In
089-607: RC Sample Block Fail-B-#2-In
089-610: RC Sample Block Fail-B-#3-In
089-613: RC Sample Block Fail-B-#4-In
089-606: RC Sample Block Fail-B-#1-Out
089-609: RC Sample Block Fail-B-#2-Out
089-612: RC Sample Block Fail-B-#3-Out
089-615: RC Sample Block Fail-B-#4-Out
NOTE
When multiple failures of Chain No. 089 (RegiCon) occur, refer to the Note in CF-021 (IReCT Error Fail) FIP and take action starting with the Fail that is highest in priority order.
Procedure
Check the density of the applicable color.
Is the density of the color normal?
Y N
Adjust to correct the density of the applicable color. After the adjustment, change the NVM [759-468] (ReC Gain Setup Flag) to "1".
Refer to BSD and check the following connections for open circuits, short circuits, and poor contacts.
Low model: Between the Motor Drive PWB J439 and the applicable ReC Sensor
Mid/High model: Between the Motor Drive PWB J443 and the applicable ReC SensorIs the connection normal?
Y N
Correctly perform connection from the Motor Drive PWB J439 or J443 to the applicable ReC Sensor. After connection, change the NVM [759-468] (ReC Gain Setup Flag) to "1".Check the Magnet Roll at the ReC Sensor position of the applicable color for contamination,
damage, and distortion.
Is the Magnet Roll normal?
Y N
Repair the Magnet Roll of the applicable color. After the repair, change the NVM [759-468] (ReC Gain Setup Flag) to "1".
Check the IBT Belt at the applicable ReC Sensor position for damage and distortion.
Is the IBT Belt normal?
Y N
Replace the IBT Belt (PL 6.3). After replacement, go to the Diag mode and perform DC675 Registration Control Setup Cycle (ADJ 18.1.5) then DC937 Procon On Print (ADJ 18.1.11) in sequence.
Check the Drum Cartridge of the applicable color for damage and deformation.
Is the Drum Cartridge normal?
Y N
Replace the Drum Cartridge (PL 8.1, PL 8.2)of the applicable color. After replacement,
go to the Diag mode and perform DC675 Registration Control Setup Cycle (ADJ 18.1.5) then DC937 Procon On Print (ADJ 18.1.11) in sequence.
Replace the ReC/ADC Sensor Assembly (PL 6.1, PL 6.2). After replacement, go to the Diag mode and perform DC675 Registration Control Setup Cycle (ADJ 18.1.5) then DC937 Procon On Print (ADJ 18.1.11) in sequence.
If the problem persists, replace the Controller PWB (PL 35.2). After the replacement, perform DC675 Registration Control Setup Cycle. (ADJ 18.1.5) |
